What is a Verification of Employment?

A verification of employment is information contained in an employee record that shows the company name, job title, start date, end date, work duration and the employee is currently active or inactive.
ETS only reveals the necessary objective information while leaving out any subjective information i.e. the employee was “constantly tardy” that could lead to an employee charged lawsuit against the employer.

What is a Verification of Income?

A verification of income is information contained in an employee record that shows the company name, job title, start date, end date, work duration and the employee is currently active or inactive. In addition, to the information contained in a VOE, the VOI also provides the salary information which includes bonuses, commissions etc.

What is a Social Service Request?

A Social Service Request is information contained in an employee record that shows the company name, job title, start date, end date, work duration and the employee is currently active or inactive and salary information which includes bonuses, commissions. i. In addition to the information contained in a VOI, the Social Service Request also provides other benefits, including medical and dental coverage. This information is only available if the Employer has opted to provide that information on the VOIE slate.
